Terms & Conditions

1. Definitions

• "Platform" refers to the First Dollar website and all associated services.
• "Founder" refers to a user who posts bounties seeking their first paying customers.
• "Hunter" refers to a user who applies to bounties and works to close deals on behalf of founders.
• "Bounty" refers to a listing posted by a Founder offering a monetary reward for acquiring a paying customer.
• "Deal" refers to an active engagement between a Founder and a Hunter working toward closing a customer.
• "Platform Fee" refers to the 20% commission retained by First Dollar on each completed bounty.

2. Account Registration

To use First Dollar, you must create an account using a valid email address. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. You must provide accurate and complete information during registration and keep your account information up to date.

4. Deal Verification

A deal is considered complete only when the Founder confirms that a legitimate, paying customer has been acquired through the Hunter's efforts. Both parties must act in good faith during the verification process. First Dollar reserves the right to mediate disputes and make final determinations on deal validity.

5. Identity Protection

Founder identities are masked on the platform until escrow is locked on a bounty. Hunters agree not to attempt to identify or contact founders outside of the platform. Any attempt to circumvent the platform to avoid fees is a violation of these terms and may result in account suspension or termination.

6. Prohibited Conduct

You agree not to:

• Use the platform for any unlawful purpose or in violation of applicable laws.
• Circumvent the platform to avoid paying or receiving platform fees.
• Misrepresent your identity, qualifications, or the nature of deals.
• Submit fraudulent deals or fabricate customer relationships.
• Harass, threaten, or abuse other users of the platform.
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or otherwise extract data from the platform.
• Create multiple accounts to manipulate platform features.

7. Dispute Resolution

If a dispute arises between a Founder and a Hunter regarding deal verification or payment, either party may initiate a dispute through the platform. First Dollar will review the dispute and make a determination based on available evidence. Our decision is final and binding. We reserve the right to hold escrowed funds during the dispute resolution process.

8. Intellectual Property

All content, branding, and intellectual property on the First Dollar platform belongs to First Dollar unless otherwise stated. Users retain ownership of content they submit (bounty descriptions, applications, etc.) but grant First Dollar a non-exclusive license to display and use that content in connection with providing our services.

9. Limitation of Liability

First Dollar provides the platform on an "as is" basis. We do not guarantee that any bounty will result in a closed deal or that any hunter will successfully acquire customers. To the maximum extent permitted by law, First Dollar shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or related to your use of the platform.

10. Account Termination

First Dollar reserves the right to suspend or terminate your account at any time for violation of these terms or for any conduct that we determine, in our sole discretion, to be harmful to the platform or other users. Upon termination, any pending escrow funds will be handled according to the circumstances of the termination.

11. Modifications

We may update these Terms & Conditions from time to time. We will notify users of material changes by posting the updated terms on the platform. Your continued use of the platform after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised terms.
